Mr. Abdirahman Omar

Mr. Abdirahman Omar Moumin took office as the second Rector of the Jarriban International University on the 20th of November 2020. Prior to his appointment as Rector, Abdirahman served the University in various capacities.  Before joining Jarriban International University, Mr. Abdirahman served at Beder International University and Alpha University for 3 years. He is also served as a researcher and Teacher Trainer at Almarifa Center for Research, Training, and Consulting.

 

 

Mr. Abdirahman is a respected member of Marifa Academy, Somali Academy; Mr. Abdirahman was born in 1989 and graduated from Amoud University in 2016.  He has got master degree in Educational Management and Administration from Amoud University.  Moreover, he earned a Diploma in measurement and Evaluation from Alison, He also earned a Diploma in Management from Alison.

 

Mr. Abdirahman is active in research having institutional significance.  He is an educationist mainly interested in Teaching school management, child welfare, and poverty as well as micro and small-scale enterprise development, entrepreneurship and food security.  He has published several articles in peer-review journals in the areas of Education, child wellbeing, employment, and economics of education. He is married.
